UV light Sterilization

UV light Sterilization is an unique form of air purification that uses ultraviolet light to kill viruses, bacteria and molds in the air passed under the light.

UV air purification is commonly found in air purifier and HVAC systems, particularly in medical applications where a sterile environment is important. The technology may be used in conjunction with particle filters such as HEPA. Ultraviolet light is a well known method of sterilization and has been used for this purpose since the 1930's. It is also sometimes used in water purification.
